Whether youre racing across the ocean or charging down the coast, rowing demands more than just time on the water. It demands strength. Resilience. And a body prepared for the extremes.
Row Resilience is a bespoke coaching programme designed for rowing teams or solo rowers preparing for high-endurance events like the World’s Toughest Row. This isn’t generic S&C – it’s rowing-specific support for real-world performance.
Because preparing for a challenge like rowing 3,000 miles across the Atlantic requires more than cardio. It requires:
I’m not just a coach – I’m currently training to row the Atlantic myself. I know what’s at stake, what it takes, and how to build a plan that works around busy lives, variable crews, and big dreams.
This offer isn’t just about getting stronger – it’s about becoming more resilient, consistent, and prepared for the unique challenges of rowing long and rowing hard.
To improve your stroke mechanics, boost power efficiency, and reduce injury risk on the erg. Poor form on the erg is one of the most common causes of injury in endurance rowers.
This part of the programme helps you:
this ensures every stroke is working with your body, not against it
You can be the strongest team in the world – but if your timing, posture or blade work is off, you’re working harder than you need to.
On-water coaching closes the gap between strength and skill. It’s where everything comes together – physically, mentally, and as a crew.
“Training is built around you. Whether you’re six months out from La Gomera or just starting to build base fitness on a two year campaign – we’ll tailor your plan accordingly.”
Technical coaching to refine stroke, improve efficiency, and enhance crew cohesion.

Row Resilience isn’t just for ocean crews – it’s for rowing clubs, corporate teams, and community-based squads looking to build strength, stay injury-free, and row stronger together.
Whether you’re a novice gig team, a mixed group of friends, or a coastal race crew, this group-based coaching model gives you the structure, accountability, and resilience tools to train smart as a unit.
What’s included :
All group coaching is designed to suit your unique environment – whether that’s on the sea, a corporate boardroom, in the gym, or a garage with a rowing machine and a set of dumbbells.
